GenExchange Opens Irish Genealogy Gateway to Newsgroups - 2000-02-11 (VIRGINIA BEACH, VA) The Genealogy Exchange & Surname Registry (http://genexchange.org) has opened the second of an expected 20 gateways that allow cross posting between Usenet genealogy newsgroups and genealogy mailing lists hosted by the GenExchange. Opening the alt.genealogy to gateway on 01 January 2000, the GenExchange announces that today we opened the soc.genealogy.ireland to gateway. The GenExchange is very pleased to host this new research tool for Irish genealogical researchers and invite all interested to subscribe to any of our Irish genealogy mailing lists by visiting http://genexchange.org/maillistform.cfm?cat=ireland.
