GenExchange Extends Genealogical Communication to the Masses - 2000-10-14

(VIRGINIA BEACH, VA) The GenExchange is pleased to announce today's opening of seven new gatewayed genealogical mailing lists allowing cross-posting of email messages between UseNet genealogical newsgroups and a corresponding GenExchange hosted mailing list. The GenExchange, one of the largest non-profit genealogical organizations on the Internet, is home to hundreds of mailing lists bringing tens of thousands of GenExchange subscribers closer to genealogists throughout the world. The GenExchange previously has hosted four gatewayed mailing lists, bringing the total number of gatewayed GenExchange hosted mailing lists to eleven. The GenExchange created the following mailing lists today.
